Seco De Carne (Peruvian Pot Roast)

$0

Seco de carne is a flavorful, slow-simmered chuck beef stew. The name, which translates to "dry meat," is ironic, as the dish is anything but dry, featuring tender meat in a rich, herby sauce. The slow cooking method we use, reduces the liquid to a rich, thick flavorful sauce. It's a popular dish with roots in the northern regions of Peru, incorporating Arabic and African influences through its use of cumin and other aromatics, and is served with Steamed White Rice and Peruvian White Bean's.
